Below, we answer some of your most frequently asked questions...
How do I know where my tank lid is?
When you purchase your home, a TItle V Inspection was completed. Along with that inspection should be a diagram of where your septic system is. It's important to know, not only for pumping, but because you should make sure you don't park on it or place anything over it that would be difficult to move when you need to have your system pumped.
How often should I get my system pumped?
With typical use, you should have your system pumped every 3 years.
Do I need to be home when you pump?
You do not have to be at home when we pump. You can leave your system uncovered and we'll take care of it from there. We do not typically need access to your home.
I am buying or selling a house with a septic system, what do I do?
Of course you can call us. We are happy to guide you through the process. MA DEP also has a very helpful webpage that tells you all about the care and feeding of your septic system.
